Savannah, GA-(March 11, 2013) Great Dane is proud to present a variety of innovative products and features in Booth #101 at the Technology and Maintenance Council 2013 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition. The event is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Conference Center in Nashville, Tennessee, from March 11-14.

Great Dane continues to move forward with product refinements and trailer innovations that are raising the bar for quality, service and innovative technology. Featured in the company's TMC booth this year is a Champion CP dry van, a single-axle dolly, and a model of Great Dane's exclusive EnduroGuard rear frame, which is now a standard feature on the company's dry vans.

The Great Dane Champion CP on display at TMC is a 28' trailer custom built for Saia Motor Freight. This compact trailer is designed and constructed to provide the extra strength, flexibility and durability Saia requires for its broad range of shipping services. In addition to standard features including the Stemco® Platinum Performance Plus wheel-end system with an exclusive six-year limited warranty, and Grote®'s Long Life Light System with Micro Nova DOT all-LED exterior lamps, the Saia show trailer also features a stainless steel roll-up rear door frame and impact guard, single-punch "A" logistic post uprights on 16" centers, a Meritor PSI Tire Inflation System, a Transtex® MFS reinforced thermoplastic trailer skirt, as well as LED interior dome lights with motion-sensing technology. The trailer's floors are also protected with Prolam® coatings, including WaxIn™ rear interior weather barrier to protect vulnerable areas from temperature, sun and moisture, and full-length PUR™ polyurethane undercoating for superior moisture barrier protection underneath the trailer floor.

Also on display in Great Dane's booth is a Great Dane converter dolly. Great Dane manufactures and warranties its own line of fully customizable converter dollies standard with I-beam construction for increased strength. Other standard features on the dolly include ABS Wabco® 2S/1M Easy Stop brakes, Hutchens 3-Spring Rail Suspension, and a Holland® JS-300 J Dolly Jack with steel wheel landing gear.

Visitors to the Great Dane booth will also be able to see a model of the company's EnduroGuard rear frame that is now standard on all Great Dane Champion dry vans. Great Dane rear frames are renowned for their structural performance. By combining galvannealed carbon steel with stainless steel elements, EnduroGuard offers the corrosion benefits of zinc and stainless with aesthetic benefit of a painted frame. Galvannealed steel will not crack or flake, and provides an integrated zinc surface that readily accepts Great Dane's high-performance paint system and protects against corrosion where you need it most.
