Savannah, GA - (March 20, 2013) Visitors to Great Dane's Booth #34075 at the 2013 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. will be immersed in an interactive experience showcasing the company's incomparable line of trailers, including hands-on demonstrations of exclusive technology innovations. The show will take place from March 21 -23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

In keeping with Great Dane's new marketing campaign theme, "Drive Away With More", the company's 2013 MATS booth will feature a cross-section of the added-value products and services that differentiate Great Dane from the competition. Included in the exhibit will be two of the company's latest Freedom Series flatbed trailers, a Champion Series dry van, an Everest Series refrigerated trailer, and a wide range of technology innovations in an area the company is calling "The Great Dane Innovation Experience."

The Innovation Experience will feature three hands-on exhibits of the company's most advanced innovation products--all designed to further enhance and extend the performance and lifespan of the company's trailers. Among the innovations showcased will be Great Dane's exclusive CorroGuard anti- corrosion coating, its newest EnduroGuard rear frame assembly, and Great Dane's patented ThermoGuard reefer liner package – enhanced at no additional cost for 2013. Also in the booth will be an interactive display unveiling the company's latest technological tool, the Great Dane mobile app for iPhone® and Android® smart phones.

"We're seeing a lot of excitement and momentum in the trailer manufacturing industry, and we expect to be at the forefront of that growth," said Dean Engelage, Great Dane's Executive VP of Sales and Strategic Planning. "This year's MATS show is an ideal forum for us to remind the world about what has made Great Dane a leading brand in the trailer industry for almost 100 years, and to showcase the innovations that we believe will enable us to maintain our leadership position for many years to come."

Company Trailers Showcased
Highlighted in Great Dane's 2013 MATS booth will be four of the company's redesigned trailers, all featuring an impressive range of standard features such as the Stemco® Platinum Performance Plus Wheel End System with exclusive six-year limited warranty, and Grote®'s Long-Life Light System with 100 percent LED MicroNova DOT lamps, dual-intensity high–mount stop lights, and a fully sealed modular wiring harness covered by a ten-year warranty.

The Great Dane Everest TL reefer goes the distance to meet the demands of the long-haul truckload carrier at a competitive price, featuring industry-leading lightweight technology, unparalleled thermal efficiency and exceptional durability. In addition to the trailer's standard features, the show trailer includes the company's patented ThermoGuard reefer lining package, which greatly reduces losses in insulating foam efficiency over the life of the trailer. Enhanced for 2013, the optional ThermoGuard liner package now includes a ThermoGuard subpan, extending thermal protection throughout the trailer's floor. The show trailer also features Great Dane's CorroGuard anti-corrosion protection, a Hendrickson® TIREMAXX Pro Tire Inflation System, a Laydon Composites® TrailerSkirt W, Bridgestone® Ecopia tires, as well as a Thermo King S-600 Precedent refrigeration unit.

Great Dane's versatile Freedom LT flatbed trailer, combines steel and aluminum construction to provide a lightweight, low maintenance product with a lasting appearance and outstanding long-term value. The all-aluminum Freedom XP flatbed trailer is nearly 1,000 pounds lighter than a comparable steel-aluminum trailer and is rated to withstand 60,000-lb. loads in four-foot sections, and up to 120,000 pounds of uniformly distributed loads.

Rounding out Great Dane's show trailer lineup is a Champion SE dry freight van, which combines innovation with dependability for a solid return on investment. Engineered to last, the Champion SE delivers more value, long-term quality, increased productivity and less downtime with an impressive list of standard features, such as the EnduroGuard rear frame assembly that combines galvannealed steel with stainless steel to create an effective barrier against corrosion while improving trailer aesthetics. Optional features on the MATS trailer include a 101-inch interior with a snag-free plastic lining, Great Dane's exclusive CorroGuard corrosion protection coating on the landing gear and undercarriage, a PROLAM® floor with full-length PuR™ undercoating and WAXIN™ top coating, Transtex® MFS Side Skirts and a Meritor® Tire Inflation System by P.S.I.
